Ph.D. Candidate

Eleonora Cappuccio is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Italian National Doctoral Program in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pisa and University of Bari “Aldo Moro”.
Previously, she obtained her Master’s in communication design from Politecnico di Milano in 2020 and a Master’s in Big Data Analytics and Social Mining from the University of Pisa in 2021.
Her research, conducted at the National Research Council’s ISTI laboratory, focuses on the study and design of Explanation User Interfaces.
Specifically, from explanations generated by explainable AI algorithms, she designs visual interfaces that can adapt to the needs of different types of users.
