Assistant professor in Computer Science at Linköping University

The Department of Computer and Information Science (IDA) at Linköping University invites applications for a position as Assistant professor in Computer Science, with a strong focus on the borderland between theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence. The position is based at the Theoretical Computer Science Laboratory (TCSLAB) in the Department of Computer and Information Science. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to ELLIIT’s broader goals within research, graduate education, dissemination and exploitation. TCSLAB is currently working on fine-grained and parameterized complexity analysis of computationally hard problems, various methods for algorithm construction, and approximation algorithms and other inexact methods for solving intractable problems. Applications that have been studied by the group have mainly been within constraint satisfaction and automated planning.
Deadline for application is March 1, 2022.
