The Department of Software Engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure track position as associate senior lecturer in software engineering with a focus on software development analytics.
For this position, we are looking for a candidate with experience from quantitative and qualitative research and from tool development for the collection, analysis or visualization of software development data. The teaching includes lectures, practical elements and course development at basic level and advanced level in software engineering. In addition, supervision of degree and project work at undergraduate and graduate level is included. There is also the opportunity for supervision of doctoral students. Our tradition of close cooperation with industry means that we value an interest in and experience from empirical research in collaboration with industry.
