Guy Kornowski is a PhD student at the Weizmann Institute of Science, advised by Prof. Ohad Shamir. He previously held student research positions at Apple ML Research, working with Vitaly Feldman and Kunal Talwar, and at Google Research, working with Manfred Warmuth. Guy’s research focuses on the foundations of machine learning, with a broad interest in optimization and generalization. His work has received several honors, including the Best Paper Award at the ICML 2025 MemFM Workshop, a finalist for the Best Paper Prize for Young Researchers at ICCOPT 2025, and an Azrieli Graduate Fellowship.
