Daniel Selvaratnams interests lie in the union of control, optimisation, and theoretical computer science. The focus of his current postdoc, with Henrik Sandberg, is on strengthening the security and resilience of networked cyber-physical systems, using control-theoretic tools. He has also worked on planning, formal verification, numerical optimisation, and Bayesian estimation, with application to the design of trusted autonomous systems. He was formerly a guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) engineer at BAE Systems Australia, where they developed autonomous systems for the aerospace industry. Daniel Selvaratnam obtained his Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Hons.) from Monash University, and his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Melbourne.
