As coding tools have advanced—particularly with AI enabling automatic code generation and comprehension—the response from both industry and academia has been to automate code review as well.
ELLIIT PhD student Lo Gullstrand Heander’s research investigates how code reviewers best could be supported in their work, and how to maintain and keep the social aspects and gains in the code review process.
