Digital Baseband Processing for 6G Repeater-Augmented D-MIMO Systems

The project targets repeater-augmented distributed multiple-input multiple-output (D-MIMO), a new concept for 6th generation (6G) wireless systems. The main focus will be the efficient implementation of digital baseband processing leveraging algorithm-hardware co-design. More specifically, we will investigate low-complexity algorithms and hardware architectures for synchronization, hardware impairment handling, and interference cancellation. Synergy effects will be explored between the participating partners, as well as with other ELLIIT projects.
