Marjan Alirezaie is a WASP assistant professor (biträdande universitetslektor) at the Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) , Örebro University, from where she also received her Ph.D. in 2015, with a research topic in semantic perception.
Marjan’s research interests include knowledge representation and reasoning, machine learning, and the integration of both. In particular, she is interested in the development of neuro-symbolic (NeSy) models and the extension of their applications in robotics and sensory systems.
