Andrea Carron is a Senior Lecturer at ETH Zürich. He received the bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in control engineering from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy. During his master and Ph.D. studies, he spent three stays abroad as a Visiting Researcher: the first at the University of California at Riverside, Riverside, CA, USA, the second at the Max Planck Institute, Tubingen, Germany, and the third at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA, USA. From 2016 to 2019, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Intelligent Control Systems Group, ETH Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland. His is research interests include safe-learning, learning-based control, multiagent systems, and robotics.
