The department of Electrical Engineering (ISY) at Linköping University (LiU) invites applications for a tenured associate professor position in communication systems, with specialization in the development of enabling technology for the physical, multiple-access and application layers in next generation mobile communications systems. The area includes both terrestrial and satellite systems as well as infrastructure that supports passive devices. Driving forces include edge computing, Internet of Things, virtual/augmented/extended reality (VR/AR/XR) applications, sustainability from the energy efficiency viewpoint, and security/trustworthiness/robustness aspects on all layers.
