Starting September 8th, around 6,000 people will attend the European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV) in Malmö, Sweden. Among the organizers and contributors are ELLIIT researchers.

“The interest has been very big this year. It is fantastic that we can bring so many leading AI researchers together, both for Lund University and for the region,” says Kalle Åström, professor of mathematics at Lund University and one of five general chairs for the conference.

ECCV is one of the world’s leading scientific conferences in computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This year, approximately 10,800 scientific papers were submitted, of which about 2,800 were accepted following peer review.
