Dr Paul Miller is trained as a physicist and works as an ecosystem and a climate modeller at the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science at Lund University.
His research concerns terrestrial (land) ecosystem and carbon cycle modelling, and the interactions of the land surface with climate. He has a particular focus on the further development of global climate and earth system models, in particular EC-Earth (www.ec-earth.org).
He is currently Coordinator of the Strategic Research Area MERGE (www.merge.lu.se) and is affiliated to the Centre for Environmental and Climate Research (www.cec.lu.se). He is also a member of the leadership group of the Lund University profile area Nature-based Future Solutions (https://www.lunduniversity.lu.se/research-and-innovation/research-excellence-areas/profile-areas/nature-based-future-solutions).
