Funding decision for ELLIIT Call F has been made: 15 new research projects with a total budget of SEK 31. In total, 31 Ph.D. student projects will be supported across the ELLIIT partner universities.
The purpose of Call F is to stimulate new Ph.D. student projects with significant potential to break new ground and go beyond the current state of the art. The call targets the areas of information technology and mobile communications, and proposals were expected to initiate new activities and demonstrate clear added value compared to ongoing and previous ELLIIT projects.
The funded Ph.D. student projects will run from 2026 to 2030, contributing to strengthening Swedish research and education in strategic areas within information and communication technology.
The 15 research projects within Call F are as follows:
F1 – Social Dynamics and Coordination in Networks of Human and Artificial Agents
F2 – Closed-loop Cognitive Control of Hearing Assistive Devices with Focus on Non-Gaussian Data
F3 – Learning Geometric Representations (Legere)
F4 – A Robust and Reliable Vision-Language-Action Interface
F5 – ScEENeC — Scalable, Energy-Efficient Neuromorphic Computing
F6 – Large Scale Data Driven Control
F7 – An Agentic Approach to Mixed Initiative Multi-Robot Interaction for Public Safety Applications
F8 – New Machine-Learning Methods for High-Dimensional, Population-Scale Proteomics
