Martin Andersen is with the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Technical University of Denmark. He received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2011. His research interests include numerical optimization and linear algebra, and he is currently focusing on hierarchical approximation methods for optimization with applications in data science and machine learning.
