Professor in Automatic Control
Lund University
Bo Bernhardsson holds a M.Sc. in Electrial Engineering. His PhD thesis in 1992 concerned modeling and control of uncertain dynamical systems, an area he has since then continued to work in applying it in many different domains such as design and optimization of mobile communication systems, accelerator control and electrical power systems. Since 1999 he is a professor in Automatic Control at Lund University. He has also worked 9 years in industry at Ericsson AB. His current interests are in combining model based and data-driven approaches for identifying and controlling complex dynamical systems.
